Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident using PolicyLens. This policy explains when you are eligible for a refund and how to request one. If you have a question not covered here, email us at support@policylensai.com.

1. Free Plan

The Free plan costs nothing and requires no payment details. There is nothing to refund on the Free plan.

2. Monthly Subscriptions (Starter & Pro)

  • No refunds: All monthly subscription payments are non-refundable. Once a billing cycle has been charged, no refund will be issued for that period under any circumstances.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future charges immediately — it does not issue a refund for the current period. Access continues until the end of the paid period.

3. Annual Subscriptions

  • No refunds: All annual subscription payments are non-refundable. No full or pro-rata refund will be issued at any point after payment, regardless of usage. You retain access to all paid features until the end of your annual term.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel your annual plan at any time from your account settings. Cancellation prevents auto-renewal but does not entitle you to a refund for the remaining period.

4. One-Time Claim Check (₹99)

The ₹99 Instant Claim Verdict is a one-time, on-demand purchase. Because the AI analysis is delivered immediately upon payment, this charge is non-refundable once the verdict has been generated.

Exception: if you paid and the system failed to return a result due to a technical error on our end, we will issue a full refund or re-run the analysis at no charge. Contact us within 48 hours of the failed transaction.

5. Situations Where We Will Always Refund

  • Duplicate charge: If you were charged twice for the same subscription period or purchase.
  • Technical failure: If payment was processed but your account was not upgraded or the feature did not activate within 24 hours.

6. How to Request a Refund

Email us at support@policylensai.com with:

  • Your registered email address
  • The date of the charge
  • The amount charged
  • A brief reason for the request

We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.

7. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank before contacting us, your account may be suspended while the dispute is under review. We encourage you to reach out to us first — most issues can be resolved quickly and without the delay a chargeback process typically involves.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of PolicyLens after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
